Instead of smoking, you could simply place a few drops of CBD under your tongue and you would be good to go for the rest of the day.

While the option to smoke CBD was on the table, it still wasn't primarily picked up amongst new users. There was dry-herb that you could purchase at any smoke shop, but the quality was bad, and knowing most smoke shops, the products weren't moved around as much as they should have been. 

With retailers seeing an uptick in alternative methods, vaping still maintained a high profile amongst common users. The results of that data showcased that a pre-filled cartridge on a battery with a pre-disposed lifespan was a good way to help people make the switch.

The original concept of this was used for e-cigarettes. By giving people longer hits with the ability to recharge, then they were able to go for longer periods without buying a product. In the world of nicotine, this wasn't necessarily the best case. In the world of concentrates, this was awesome.

The industry has evolved over the past couple of years. Having a rechargeable vape that can last you much longer is really becoming the selling point for many enthusiasts.

When it comes down to it, both technologies have fused to create a throw-away vaporizer than has the long-lasting functionality of a rechargeable vape pen. 

When these came together in the early 2020s, the ability to fill with larger tanks became more apparent. This follows current marketing trends throughout the industry. Users want more out of their purchase, even if they have to spend a little more to get it.
